Sad News Hits NPP

Members of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) have been thrown into mourning by the news of the untimely death of Dr Edward Naabil, who was serving as the Upper East Regional Research and Electoral Officer at the time of his death according to a publication by apexnewsgh.com

The party has extended its sincere condolences to the family of the deceased, especially his parents, wife and children at this trying and terrible time, according to a statement issued by the Regional Secretary of the party.

The Upper East Regional Chairman of the NPP, Anthony Namoo Esq, has ordered all party flags to be flown at half-mast at all regional, constituency and polling station offices. Details of the burial and funeral services will be announced in due course.
According to information received so far, he was taken to hospital yesterday, 7 March 2023, and passed away in the afternoon of 8 March 2023.

Dr Edward hails from Yameriga village in the Talensi District of the Upper East Region.

He is a senior professor at the Bolgatanga Technical University. He was the team's lead researcher on regional intelligence.

ANNOUNCEMENT OF THE UNTIMELY DEMISE OF DR. EDWARD NAABIL, NPP UPPER EAST REGIONAL RESEARCH/ELECTORAL OFFICER.
We regret to inform you of the death of our colleague, friend, and valued member of the New Patriotic Party, Dr. Edward Naabil, who met his untimely demise on Wednesday, 8th March 2023 at the Regional Hospital in Bolgatanga, where he was receiving medical attention after a short illness.

Dr. Edward Naabil is the New Patriotic Party’s Upper East Regional Research/Electoral Officer. He is a Senior Lecturer at Bolgatanga Technical University. He was a lead researcher for the party’s Regional Research and Intelligence Team.

As a result, we express our heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family, particularly his parents, wife, and children, at this trying and difficult moment.

Anthony Namoo Esq., Upper East Regional Chairman of the NPP, has directed that all party flags at regional, constituency, and polling station offices be flown at half-mast. The burial and funeral arrangements will be made public in due course.

We will miss him more than words can express.
