Sad News Hits Nollywood

Chief Sunday Akanbi Akinola, also known as Baba Feyikogbon, was a well-known Nigerian actor. He died at the age of 80, Club Mate has heard.

In the 1980s and 1990s, the actor got a lot of attention for his popular weekly sitcom, the Feyikogbon series, which ran for over 13 years on NTA Channel 7 Lagos.

The actor was born on September 19, 1942. For years, he had kidney failure, and in 2019, he asked the public for help.

He said at the time that he needed 30 million Naira to go to another country to get treatment for kidney failure and high blood pressure.

Before he asked for help from the public, he said in an interview in 2014 that his popular play didn't make him any money, only fame.

He died, which is sad because he had been sick for years.

Yoruba movie stars have gone to Instagram to say how sad they are about him.

But Dr. Kemi Olunloyo also said that the star actor had died.

"Feyikogbon actor Sunday Akinola died MONTHS after his 80th birthday in 2022."
