School principal and gym teacher fired after allegedly having sex sessions on campus

The principal and gym teacher of a school were fired after it was said that they had sex on campus.
An elementary school principal and a gym teacher in Georgia, USA, who had an affair for years and had sex on school grounds, have both been fired.

Some of the sexual encounters between Banks County Elementary School Principal Dana Simmons, who is married, and physical education teacher Dylan Charles were caught on camera by Charles's wife, according to a report from an outside firm that was shown on WSB-TV.

Simmons accused Charles of getting secret information about the school district either by bugging her office or by having a source in the county's school board, says a report from the end of January 2023.

After that was taken care of, Charles went to district officials and said he was having an affair with Simmons. He said they had sex at the elementary school and elsewhere, the report says.

Simmons is said to have said at first that the two only had a "inappropriate friendship" and denied that they had done anything sexual.

But Charles showed up with what looked like proof of the sexual encounters. One photo showed him and Simmons kissing, and another showed a naked man and woman having sex in a car, which Charles said was him and Simmons.

The report says that other photos showed a woman named Simmons having oral sex with a man in a car and a naked woman standing in a room near Simmons' office at the school.

According to the report, internal investigators were also given texts that he, his wife, and Simmons sent to each other.

After it was said that the school's principal and gym teacher had sex on campus, they were fired.

Again, neither the pictures nor the text messages have any context, but the report says that all of the evidence tends to back up Mr. Charles's claim that Dr. Simmons and Mr. Charles were having an inappropriate relationship.

Simmons admitted to having sex with Charles during her interview with the outside firm, but she denied having sex on school grounds, the report says. She said that the PE teacher's wife, Kelsey Charles, set up the sexual encounters and that she even watched the two have sex, the report says.

A close friend of Simmons told investigators that she saw Kelsey Charles send Simmons a text message that asked, "Would you like to f— my husband?"

In an interview with an independent investigative firm, Simmons's wife, Kelsey Charles, said Simmons told her and her husband she would help their careers and that Simmons was "manipulating" them, according to the report. She also said in the report that Simmons tried to get her to let her sleep with her husband.

Staff from internal investigators John Grant and Dr. Paul Shaw wrote, "There is clear evidence that Dr. Simmons and Mr. Charles slept together."

"Pictures, video, admissions from both sides, and confirmation by Kelsey Charles," he said.

The firm also came to the conclusion that there was evidence of sexual activity at Banks County Elementary School.

In a statement to WSB-TV, the school district said, "The teachers involved no longer work with Banks County students." but emphasized that no crime had been done. The Macon Telegraph said that the two left their jobs.

In a statement to WSB-TV, Banks County Superintendent Ann Hopkins said, "When the District heard allegations about the situation at hand, it hired independent investigators right away to look into it and give a report of what they found."

Law enforcement looked over the report in question to see if there was any evidence of wrongdoing, but they didn't find any. The teachers in question no longer teach students in Banks County.

We always put the safety and well-being of our students first. The investigation into this event didn't find any signs that the safety or security of the students had been compromised.
