Stop judging my appearance; I may be wiser than you - Nana Tornado to critics

In an interview with Accra-based TV3, Nana Tornado claimed that most people shun him because of the way he dresses and looks.

He believes that his choice of clothes has nothing to do with his intelligence and that he is far wiser and smarter than anyone who criticises him for the way he dresses in public.

He went on to say that he doesn't really mind if people tend to withdraw from him when their families ask them to.

He describes himself as a straightforward, easy-going man who just wants to live a quiet life.

Nana also described how his father made him go to school when all he wanted to do was have fun, saying that he would never make his daughter do anything she didn't want to do.

The 35-year-old Nana Tornado, real name Emil Gerald Wood, was born in Tema. The single father of a 15-year-old daughter rose to fame after appearing on the popular Afia Schwarzenegger TV show.

He started his acting career after meeting Afia Schwarzenegger, a well-known Ghanaian media personality. The actor reportedly admitted that Afia Schwarzenegger introduced him to acting, according to Ghana Weekend TV. So his first acting gig was on the Afia Schwarzenegger TV show.

Afia Schwarzenegger and Nana Tornado were friends but their friendship ended after Tornado alleged that Afia disparaged him to his friends in the States. When a video of Afia Schwarzenegger calling out her critics went viral, Tornado said Afia was always the bad apple in their friendship.
