Take Your US Visa, I Prefer Staying Here Till Death – Dormaahene

The Dormaahene, Osagyefo Aseadeeyo Agyemang Badu II, has made it clear that Ghana will not accept same-sex relationships.

He emphasized this position during a public event over the weekend and called on the government and politicians to send a strong signal in support of this stance.

He warned that he will personally ensure the political loss of anyone who supports the LGBTQ+ agenda in the country. In response to recent comments made by the US Vice President, Kamala Harris, regarding LGBTQ+ rights being human rights, he stated that he would not be swayed by the US government and would remain in his country even if denied a visa.

The Dormaahene expressed pride in his country and its values and questioned why Kamala Harris did not bring a gay wife with her during her visit to Ghana with her husband. He also alleged that Ghana's support for LGBTQ+ positions was due to seeking financial support from the International Monetary Fund.
