Teacher Shot While Going To The Toilet In A Bush At Ekumfi

A 35-year-old man was shot while he was taking a break in a bush according to Mybrytfmonline.

He was the Assistant Headmaster of Ekumfi Akra Methodist Basic School and the Ghana National Association of Teachers Local Secretary for the Ekumfi District in the Central Region.

From what we've heard, the teachers in the community don't have a toilet attached to their bungalow, so they have to go to the bush.

Based on what was learned, the victim, Shadrack Frimpong, went to a nearby bush around the staff bungalow at 5:30 a.m. on Wednesday to use the bathroom. He was shot while doing this.

His left eye and hand are hit by bullets.


He told another teacher that they were in their rooms when they heard the Assistant Headmaster shouting and calling for help. When they went to where he was, they found him in a pool of blood, which showed that he had been shot.

So they took him quickly to the Mankessim Roman Hospital to get help.

Some teachers don't understand why someone would want to shoot him if he doesn't have any problems with anyone else in the area.

Richard Anaman, the father of the victim, has asked the police in the Ekumfi District to do a huge investigation into the case now that they know about it.

He says that this is a planned attempt to kill his son, and he thinks that the victim was shot because of how he punished students. Recently, some of the parents in the area got upset with him for canning a student for bad behavior, but the problem has been solved.

The Assembly Member for Ekumfi Akra, Hon. Seth Kofi Entsie, has also said that the event happened because the teachers' bangalows don't have toilets.

As of now, the person who might have shot the teacher can't be found anywhere.

They are, however, paying police to look into the matter in a big way.
