The real story behind goats climbing trees in Morocco

An Argania tree can be identified by its fuzzy, twisted branches and rough, prickly bark. Goats in the area like the trees because they have fruit, and goats have been seen climbing the trees to get to the fruit. Goats usually travel in groups called "herds." When they climb trees, they sometimes knock each other off, making sure that only the strongest members of the herd reach the top. Animals have become so used to this new way of life that they can sit on the thin branches of a native tree and eat fruit without getting hurt.

Because of the land, it's hard for the animals in the area to keep their numbers up. Goats will eat all of the low-hanging fruit in a tree, then move up to the higher branches in hopes of finding more fruit.

When the argan fruits are ready, in early summer or late spring, is when you are most likely to see these goats in the trees. This is because the fruit on the argan tree is ready to be picked in June.

Farmers in the area have also been watching how the goats graze and making sure they stay in their enclosures until the fruit is fully ripe. Goats are only kept in pens when someone sends them. Argan oil comes from the kernels of the Argania tree, which is also called the argan tree. A few times during harvest, the farmer lets the goats eat the nuts.

This happens because goats can't break down the food they eat. After they eat a nut, it is their job to take the shell off. Because of this, the nuts soften, which makes it easier for farmers to pick them and turn them into argan oil.

People come from all over the world to Morocco to see these strange ways of eating in action. People from all over the world come to see the unique way the birds eat.

Many of them travel in organized tour groups on motor coaches. Farmers may charge people to take pictures with their goats or pose with them, among other things.

But there is a big chance that the trees will die out because more goats from other parts of the country are moving to the area.
