Tragedy Strikes as Legon Pharmacy Student Dies Before Graduation

It is with great sorrow that we announce the death of a University of Ghana student who was pursuing a pharmacy degree. Benjamin Neequaye, a student of the University of Ghana (Legon) Pharmacy School, passed away unexpectedly recently. The circumstances of his death are not clear but the school's official Twitter account, Voice of Legon, confirmed the sad news. Posting a picture of Neequaye, the account wrote: "Rest well, Neequaye. UG School of Pharmacy student,"

We do not know what caused Neequaye's death. A friend of his shared how he had worked hard for five years in Pharmacy school, only to die when he was almost done. "5 stressful years in pharmacy school Rest well Benjamin 🤲🏼" he said.¹²
