Tragic Mystery: Unknown Man Found Burnt to Death in His Car in Tetrefu

Residents of Tetrefu in the Bosomtwe District of the Ashanti Region are experiencing a sense of fear and unease following the discovery of a burnt body in a car. The unidentified man is believed to have been killed and set on fire along with his vehicle by unknown attackers on the outskirts of the community. The incident occurred on Monday, June 5, 2023, when residents stumbled upon the charred remains of the victim.

The saloon car, registered under the number GT-2887-22, was found parked about 40 meters away from the main road, indicating that the perpetrators had deliberately moved it before committing the crime. The local Assembly Member, Hon Kusi Obodum, expressed shock and stated that the motive behind the murder remains unknown. In response, the police from Kuntenase have taken charge of the investigation, while the deceased's body has been transported to the morgue.

The disturbing incident has left the community deeply concerned as they await further information from the ongoing investigation.
