Two Men Arrested After Allegedly Raping A Heavily Drunk Lady

Two men are in trouble because they are accused of taking advantage of their friend's drunk girlfriend while her boyfriend was away.

Details suggest that on the night of January 15, 2023, the woman was drinking with her boyfriend and two of his friends at one of the Pubs in Nairobi Umoja Estate.

While they were having a party, one of the boys got up and left before a boy named Owino joined them.

After partying for a long time, they decided to leave the club and spend the night at Suleiman's.

Before her boyfriend left, the woman was at her house with her boyfriend and two of her boyfriend's friends.

They kept drinking and chewing Miraa while they were in the house. But they ran out of beer, so they started fighting about where to get more and who would buy it. During the fight, it is said that the boyfriend left the woman with his two friends while he went to get beer and never came back.

A man named Owino gave the woman some of the beer he was drinking, and she passed out right away. When she woke up the next day at noon, she was alone on Suleiman's bed, which was a very bad place to be.

Suleiman told her to leave because he had to go to work. The woman went home, but when she got there, she felt pain and thought that something might have been done to her while she was drunk the night before.

She told her boyfriend that she thinks the two men might have taken advantage of her while she was drunk.

The next day, she met the two accused people, and they both admitted that they had forced her to sleep with them while she was out of it.

When she told the police about them at the Buruburu Police Station after getting help, the two suspects were taken into custody.

The two men denied the charges in front of Senior Resident Magistrate Mercy Malingu at Makadara Law Courts. They said that the person who filed the complaint did so because her boyfriend knew about what happened.
