Unprecedented Chaos: Family Members Shower Insults and Stones at Inspector Twumasi in Court

The atmosphere at the Asokore Mampong District Court in Kumasi was filled with tension and drama on Tuesday, April 20, 2023. Inspector Ahmed Twumasi, the accused murderer, made a startling entrance in a car surrounded by a police patrol team. This unexpected sight enraged some family members of the late Victoria Dapaah, also known as Maadwoa, who couldn't understand why a murderer would be given protection. Fueled by their anger, they showered the killer police officer and the other officers with curses, insults, and even threw stones and water at them.

Speaking to a reporter, some of the furious family members expressed their disbelief and outrage at the murderer being escorted in a car with heavy security protection. They couldn't comprehend why someone accused of such a heinous crime would receive such treatment.

This was Inspector Ahmed Twumasi's third appearance in court since his arrest on April 23, 2023, for the murder of Victoria Dapaah in Adum, Kumasi. Despite the court proceedings and the involvement of the police and the state, the angry family members showed no mercy. Every time Inspector Twumasi appeared in court, they would flock to the scene, hurling curses and insults at him for his unforgivable act.

The killer police officer has been transferred to the high court and is scheduled to make his first appearance there on July 13, 2023. The situation remains tense as the court continues to deal with this tragic and disturbing case. It is evident that the emotions surrounding the murder of Victoria Dapaah are running high, and the quest for justice remains a top priority for her grieving family.
