In recent months, the social media scene in Ghana has been abuzz with the trend of 'Father Bernard.' This trend began with a video featuring a distraught and grieving woman at the burial of the late Ghanaian Reverend Father Bernard Kofi Ackon.

The woman, clearly overwhelmed and shocked, impulsively threw herself into the coffin of the deceased reverend, unknowingly sparking a massive viral trend. Friends and family have testified that Father Bernard was deeply loved by everyone, which explains why the woman expressed her profound respect for the priest in such a dramatic manner.

Although the video spread widely and garnered significant attention, the identity of the woman behind it remained a mystery. Many content creators jumped on the trend, creating their own versions of the video. However, after a period of anticipation, the woman from the original video has finally revealed her face and spoken out about her actions in an interview with Kofi Adoma.

When asked by Kofi Adoma why she threw herself into Father Bernard's coffin, the woman, whose name is Comfort Baaba Basiwaa Jackson, confessed that she was not sure what had come over her. She explained that she had intended to accompany Father Bernard on his journey to the afterlife but couldn't explain what compelled her to physically dive into the coffin. Even now, she finds it astonishing.

Comfort Baaba Basiwaa Jackson further elaborated that her bond with the late Father Bernard was incredibly strong. She considered him more than just a priest but also a father figure. According to her, Father Bernard provided her with spiritual support through prayers and even financial assistance.
