Upon All Your “Guy Guy” Damongo People Hooted At You- Koku Anyidoho Slams Mahama

Mr Samuel Koku Anyidoho, a former Director of Communications at the Presidency, has reacted to the viral video of the people of Damongo hooting Mr John Dramani Mahama as the new overlord of the Gonja Kingdom, Yagbonwura Bii-Kunuto Jawu Soale, was being sworn in.

Speaking to Nana Konadu Abu-Prah on Wontumi Morning Show, Mr Samuel Koku Anyidoho criticised Mr John Mahama and insisted that his rejection by his own people doesn't bode well for the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the 2024 general elections.

He claims the late former President John Rawlings was never harassed by the people of the Volta Region, which was his home region. He added that former President John Agyekum Kufuor, who hails from the Ashanti Region, was never heckled by his own people, but only 'Guy Guy' Mahama set a record by being the only former leader to receive such treatment in Damongo.

You won't succeed if your family members don't promote you well. The Volta Region never hooted at Rawlings in 1992. According to Mr Anyidoho, who serves as the CEO of the Atta Mills Institute, President Kufuor never suffered a similar fate at the hands of the Ashanti.

The Volta Region loved Rawlings and the Ashanti Region loved Kufuor, he continued. My father is next. The Central Region never hooted at him. Who hooted at Nana Addo in Akyem and Akropng?
