Video: Hotel Manager Saves Nollywood Actor From Being Poisoned By Girlfriend

A hotel manager saved a Nigerian actor from what would have been an untimely and mysterious death, giving him a second chance at life.

A young woman infected a man's drink with something in a hotel, as seen in disturbing closed-circuit television (CCTV) video going viral on social media.

The manager of the establishment approached the lady and her male companion while they were having fun at the hotel's bar and asked about the man's relationship with her.

When the manager entered the room and saw them, the man—who had been identified as a Nollywood actor—was about to finish the contents of his glass. He was immediately stopped.

When the man responded that he and the woman were friends, the manager continued by disclosing the bad intentions of his companion. The manager insisted on knowing if the man knew the woman.

When the manager asked the woman to drink the beverage in the cup for the sake of doubt after accusing her of adulterating the beverage, the actor thought the dramatic scene was all a joke at first.

She took a defensive stance and vehemently denied the accusations. The manager then led the group to his office, where a sizable screen displayed the hotel's CCTV live feed.

The man became enraged when he saw this and slapped the woman until the manager and other bystanders quickly intervened to stop him.

We don't yet know what happened in the incident's immediate aftermath.

But it is clear that this is an attempt on the life of a famous person who would face severe punishment in court.
