Video: Residents stone a helicopter in President Buhari's convoy during a visit to the state

Angry Kano people stormed a helicopter in President Muhammadu Buhari's convoy during a visit to the state today, 30 January.

President Buhari is currently visiting the state to inaugurate some projects. Videos posted online show some Kano residents throwing stones at the helicopter and chanting 'Bamayi' (we don't want) throughout the visit.

This comes days after Governor Abdullahi Ganduje asked Buhari to postpone his trip due to potential security concerns caused by the hardships Nigerians are experiencing as a result of the naira exchange deadline and petrol scarcity.
