WATCH: Akufo-Addo clubbing at Rockcity nightclub in Kwahu

The evening of Easter celebrations in the Eastern Region of Ghana was enlivened by a performance by Amakye Dede, which was attended by President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo.

The president was part of a large crowd at the night club of Rock City Hotel in Kwahu on April 8, 2023. A video shows the president entering the club while the MC repeatedly shouts, "Addo Showboy, Addo Showboy, Addo Showboy."

Accompanied by his guards, the president walked across the hall to his seat. The Rock City Hotel is owned by Bryan Acheampong, who is both an MP for Abetifi and the Minister of Agriculture.

It is a popular destination for people who come to celebrate Easter annually in the Eastern Region. This is not the first time the president has attended the night club in Kwahu. He also attended last year.
