Nollywood actor Hank Anuku broke his silence after viral videos emerged depicting him as homeless and wearing rags.

The formerly vivacious movie star may be seen looking run-down on the streets of Benin in a series of videos that various eyewitnesses put online.

Along with chatting to himself, Hank was also caught on camera as onlookers expressed their shock.

Colleague Shan George sent a statement assuring everyone that the actor was fine shortly after the video went viral online and caused panic.

George revealed that he and the Nollywood actor were recently seen working together on a set while sharing a photo.

Despite Shan's post, some of her coworkers insisted that he was not fine and charged that she was covering up the truth. The argument that Hanks is not fine was backed up by other Nigerians.

In the video, he called out today’s date and told people writing crap about him to desist from doing so. He then told them to “find Jesus and leave me alone.”
