Watch Moment Kojo Antwi Consoles His Mother at his Father’s 40 Days Observance

Kojo Antwi had to comfort his stepmother after her husband died, and it was a sad experience for him.

The devastated widow approached the Maestro, as he is known, while he was performing a final concert in memory of his father.

His song 'Bebre Anowa', which he revealed was also his late father's favourite, moved his mother, especially as the second lyric was his name, Mr Asiamah.

His mother came over with flowers as a token of her love and support for the Asiamah family as he entertained family and sympathisers with the beautiful tune. His mother was in tears.

After pausing his performance to introduce his stepmother to the audience, Kojo Antwi silently comforted her.

Sarkodie, Mr Drew, IGP George Dampare, ACP Kofi Sarpong and Kwaku Kyei Darkwah (KKD), among others, were in attendance.

Kojo Antwi was also comforted by Sarkodie, Mr Drew, the IGP and others during his father's 40 days.

On the 2nd of January 2023, Kojo Antwo lost his father, Opanin Kwadwo Asiamah Asubonten. He died at home at the ripe old age of 104.
