Wayne Rooney Replies Adongo Over Economic Maguire Joke

Wayne Rooney, who used to play for Manchester United, said that the Ghanaian Parliament's jokes about Harry Marguire were crazy.

Isaac Adongo, a member of parliament for the Bolgatanga Central Constituency, said that Maguire's play for Manchester United was like how Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia runs Ghana's economy.

Honourable Adongo got a lot of attention when he said that Dr. Bawumia is an economic wizard.

"Harry Maguire is a defensive player. "He was tackling everyone and throwing his body everywhere," Adongo said in Parliament.

"People thought he was the best defender on the planet. He was bought by Manchester United. He became the biggest threat to Manchester United's defense in the middle, where he tackled Manchester players and set up goals for opponents.

"Mr. Speaker, you may remember that we also have an economic Maguire in this country. We are clapping to show that this man is the best at dealing with foreign terms. Mr. Speaker, why did we let this Maguire be the center of our defense? He became our own goals for the rest of us. Our economic "Maguire" is in charge of our economy's most important parts and is destroying them all.




When the MP made a joke, Rooney said that Maguire has been at his best at the World Cup in Qatar.



"This week, I saw on social media that someone in Ghana's parliament made fun of Harry Maguire. It was crazy, especially since Harry has been great at this World Cup. I thought he would do well because he always does well for England and never lets Gareth Southgate down. He told The Times, "He's just a very good defender with a strong mind."
