What Shatta Wale said about Kenyan women has Ghanaian women up in arms

Shatta Wale, a well-known dancehall musician, visited Kenya in March to promote his new album, MAALI, and to conduct business.

He was warmly received by the media and was asked about the purpose of his trip and whether he planned to collaborate with Kenyan artists.

When he was questioned about what he liked best about Kenyans, Shatta Wale responded by saying that he found Kenyan women to be beautiful and resembling top models.

He also stated that he thought Kenyan men were a bit like him, which elicited laughter from the crowd.

When asked about his relationship status, Shatta Wale said he was single and jokingly said that he wouldn't mind dating a Kenyan woman.
