After what felt like an eternity, the attack slowly began to lessen and she was eventually able to breathe much better and come back to her normal state.

At that moment, I began to realize the severity of the situation. I was thankful that I was there to help her, and that it wasn't as bad as it could have been. I was also glad that she was ok, and that I was able to help minimize the intensity of the attack.

I now know that asthma attacks can be serious and life-threatening for some and that prompt medical attention is essential. A simple asthma attack can quickly become a medical emergency.
