By giving her guy N1.5 million on his birthday, a young Nigerian woman has raised the bar for other women.

On his special day, Tuesday 31 December, Herbert Moses' girlfriend went above and beyond to express her love for him.

Cameras caught the man posing with a large cheque and a box of cash as the woman surprised the love of her life with the financial gift at a private restaurant.

Numerous others have taken to social media to comment on the lady's kind gesture, many of whom were taken aback by the financial gift.

Some even claimed that she was the first woman in Nigeria to give a man a substantial cash gift.
