Diana revealed to Simon Kibe of Inooro TV yesterday that on a pivotal day, her future mother-in-law and sister-in-law surprised her.

She welcomed them with wide arms even though she had planned to go to church. Even though the child was only three months old, the mother-in-law insisted on shaving him according to Luhya tradition. She shaved him and hastily said her goodbyes before leaving.

After they left, Diana and the kids turned on the TV and started watching cartoons. Diana is left in the dark after that. When she awoke, she had just completed strangling her oldest child. Quickly releasing her hold, she went over to the two sleeping kids.

She ultimately informed the police about the event. A psychiatric assessment was carried out. She was sentenced to three years in prison after the judge found that she was not acting in her own best interests at the time of the incident.

She struggled with depression and got diabetes during her first few months working in bars, but she has since sought counseling and is now doing much better. She intends to have more kids after she is freed in order to make up for the ones she already lost.

Even though this wasn't the first time something like had occurred, people found it hard to believe a woman could kill her own children by strangling them. Some individuals have even proposed that the woman be brought to a mental hospital because it's possible that she has a mental disorder.
