Private Legal Practitioner Lawyer Maurice Ampaw has said that a man can sue his girlfriend if she promises to marry him and then doesn't.

"You can take her to court and get your money back if she asks you to take her to school or give her money for trade and she doesn't marry you."

On the Wontumi TV Morning Show, he said, "You promised to marry your boyfriend, but now that you've spent his money, you're telling him he's not your class."
