You Come To Our Country, You Know What Makes Us Angry And You Do It

On Monday, when Portugal beat Uruguay, an Australian fan named Marco Ferri ran onto the field with a rainbow flag. This made a Qatari journalist very angry, and he posted about it on social media. This is because being gay is against the law in Qatar.

At the FIFA World Cup on November 28, 2022, when Portugal beat Uruguay at Lusail Stadium, a man ran onto the field to protest against Qatar.

The ticket holder, who is thought to be Marco Ferri, who often gets on the field, stopped the game for a short time while security went after him.

Before he was caught, the pitch invader raised a rainbow flag over his head to show support for the LGBT community. Australian-based Iranian referee Alireza Faghani picked up the flag and put it on the sideline.

On the front and back of a Superman T-shirt he was also wearing, the words "SAVE UKRAINE" and "RESPECT FOR IRANIAN WOMAN" were written.

A well-known journalist from Qatar named Mohammed Al Kaabi wrote on his Twitter page after the game was over, "You come to our country and you know what makes us angry, and you do it." More than 417,000 people follow Al Kaabi.

Because homosexuality is against the law in Qatar, FIFA at first told fans they couldn't wear rainbow-colored clothes inside the stadiums. However, this rule was lifted after the first week of the competition.

A football fan in Qatar who broke the country's strict rules by wearing a revealing swimsuit and getting a lot of attention has been called the "sexiest fan" of the World Cup.

Ivana Knoll has drawn attention to herself by wearing clothes with a Croatian theme on the conservative streets of Doha. The woman who used to be Miss Croatia put pictures of her risky photoshoot on Instagram and tagged FIFA so that her 608,000 followers could see them.

Knoll also wore a revealing outfit to the Al Bayt Stadium on Wednesday, when Morocco and Croatia tied 0-0. After reaching the World Cup final in Russia four years ago, Croatia fans are hoping that Zlatko Dalic's team can do something special in Qatar.

Knoll could get arrested or be sent away if she wears revealing clothes in public. During the World Cup, which ends on December 18, controversial hosts Qatar asked both male and female fans not to wear "too revealing clothing."

"Visitors should respect local culture by not wearing clothes that are too revealing in public," Qatar's tourism board said before the tournament. "Men and women should make sure their shoulders and knees are covered," says a general rule.
