You Will Go From Independence Square To Blue Kiosk To Drink Booze And ‘Ataya’ - Wontumi To Mahama

Chairman Wontumi, the Ashanti regional Chairman for the New Patriotic Party (NPP), has responded to comments made by former President John Mahama about his vision for his first day in office in 2025.

Chairman Wontumi disagrees with Mahama's plan to work in the Jubilee House and instead believes that he will end up at a drinking bar to booze his day off due to his imminent disappointment.
Chairman Wontumi jokingly claims that Mahama will be returning from Independence Square to a 'blue kiosk' to drink 'ataya' and booze rather than entering the Jubilee House.

This is in response to Mahama's belief that he is familiar with the presidency and will hit the ground running on his first day in office.

Mahama had previously asked who would show him around the Flagstaff House on his first day in office in 2025. However, Chairman Wontumi believes that Mahama will be disappointed because he will be "boozing" and drinking 'ataya' while President Akufo-Addo hands over to another NPP government.
