You need a ‘spiritual father’ to be great – Dr Lawrence Tetteh advises

Dr Lawrence Tetteh, the founder and director of Global Outreach, has advised that those who want to succeed in life should have spiritual fathers on their side.

He asserts that having a spiritual father to act as a mentor and advisor will help in remodelling one's life to achieve one's aspirations.

The international preacher told Kingdom FM that individuals should seek the advice of those who have gone before them to remind them that whatever they intend to do in life, others have already done it.

"You need the fathers to guide, teach and help us. Every action we do today has been done by someone else and you cannot become a father unless you have been fathered.”

Dr Lawrence Tetteh told Fiifi Pratt on Kingdom FM's Afro Joint programme: "You cannot be a teacher unless you have been taught, and you cannot be a leader unless you have been led.”

He stressed: "Most of the time, we want to be leaders when no one is leading us.”

The prolific man of God added that despite how successful he has been in life, he still looks at other people as his spiritual fathers and bows to them.

"I have fathers and some of them, as I sit here now, I choose to go and submit to them. Everyone needs someone to talk to," he added.
