Your killer stabs and smiles with you in politics – Feminist Dela Goldheart laments

Amedela Amelia Amemate, also known as Dela Goldheart, is a National Democratic Congress (NDC) parliamentary candidate for the Anlo constituency in the Volta Region. She has decried political betrayal.

In a social media post, Dela Goldheart lamented the fact that one can only pretend to love and smile with someone after stabbing them in politics.

The feminist is contesting the Anlo seat on the National Democratic Congress (NDC) ticket and is known for her strong views on 'taboo' issues such as tribalism and homosexuality in Ghana.

Having set out her goals, she has mainly used social media to garner support and raise money for her projects.

“Politics, the only place where your killer stabs you while smiling. Thinking you don’t know what’s happening,” she lamented.

Dela Goldheart has had both fierce detractors and fervent supporters since she announced her candidacy. It is unclear what prompted her to complain about such nasty political manoeuvring.
