Ursula Owusu Should Apologise To Ghanaians - Hon. Sam George

If you are a Ghanaian, I am sure you have either registered your sim card or you are among the stubborn academies (haven’t yet registered your sim card due to your reasons or Ghana card issue).

The national communications authority started a sim card re-registration in Ghana which started on 1st October 2021 and ended on 31st March 2022.

After the deadline, many Ghanaians were finding it difficult to register their sim cards and because of this, the NCA extended the deadline.
After the extension, Ursula Owusu made it known that anybody that refuses to register his or her sim card will get their sim card deactivated.
And there is no way she is going to extend the registration timeline again.
She made it known that measures will soon be rolled out against people who decide not to register their sim cards. And continued by saying Ghanaians should not blame their service providers if they find out their sim cards have been deactivated.
On Thursday, Hon. Sam George in an interview on the Top Story show said that the way Ursula Owusu is handling the sim card registration is not professional.

He stated that Hon. Ursula Owusu will have to apologise to Ghanaians for what she said about the sim card registration and how she is handling it.
‘Ursula Owusu must understand that he serves the people of Ghana and he can not control the people to do what she likes

The Ningo-Prampram MP made it known that the NCA has not yet deactivated unregistered sim cards because they simply can’t
Many people who want to register their sim cards are finding it difficult because the same National identification authority is finding it difficult to issue Ghana cards for the people.

Hon. Sam George also advised Ghanaians who have registered their Ghana card but have still not got them to provide their data to his office and he will take it upon himself and take action against the National Identification Authority.
So to the one reading this post, have you registered your Simcard? If not, why haven't you registered?
Part of the stubborn academy? Or it is because of the Ghana card?
