According to the aggrieved Employees "the rejoinder filed by management is replete with falsehoods engaged in frivolities, majoring on the minor issues".

Earlier, the Aggrieved employees had petitioned the office of the RT. Hon. Speaker of Parliament, the Ghana Mine Workers Union, Minister for Employment and Labour Relations, CEO of the Minerals Commission and Chairman of the National Labour Commission over threats of industrial action and matters arising relating to poor condition of service.
