Barbara Oteng-Gyasi commended for providing apprenticeship training for constituents

A youth activist of Prestea Huni-Valley constituency in the Western Region, Richmond Nana Addo, has commended the former Prestea Huni-Valley MP and the current board chair of Minerals Commission, Barbara Oteng-Gyasi for providing apprenticeship training for some youth of the constituency.

Richmond Nana Addo revealed this in a statement issued to the media on Monday, September 11, 2023.

"Records available to us shows that about one thousand constituents have directly benefited from the skills training, this has a tendency of fostering innovativeness, human development and bring a significant impact on the participated communities" he stated.

"Furthermore, the initiatives by the former Member of Parliament and CEO of the Ghana Minerals Commission has a tendency of promoting economic development, boost the local economy and also an evident work-life autonomy for beneficiaries. Indigence of the aforementioned communities are entitled and grateful for such comprehensive program", he added.

He, therefore, took the opportunity, to urge Barbara Oteng-Gyasi to do more for the constituency.

"As constituents, we are immensely grateful for your exceptional work and wholeheartedly appreciate you for your service and we look forward to see more from you", he said.

CELEBRATING THE REMARKABLE CONTRIBUTIONS OF HON. BARBARA OTENG-GYASI, BOARD CHAIR MINERALS COMMISSION

In the heart of our constituency, there shines a beacon of dedicated service and unwavering commitment to the betterment of our community – Hon. Barbara Oteng-Gyasi. With an unyielding passion for progress and a genuine concern for the welfare of the people, she has proven time and again to be a stalwart advocate for positive change.

It is with great appreciation that we celebrate Her remarkable contributions. The most recent initiative among many is her collaboration with Aseda Foundation and PSGL to develop the skill set of her constituents especially with women.

The skill and entrepreneurial training program was conducted in selected communities including; Prestea, Himan, Bondaye, Broni-Kwanta and Kwameniampa.
