Charges against Cecelia Dapaah’s maids

Cecilia Abena Dapaah, the Minister of Sanitation, and her husband filed a stealing complaint against two former house helpers accused of stealing various quantities of money from her apartment in Abelemkpe, an Accra suburb.


The Chrononicle newspaper was the first to break the scoop on July 21, and most portals and media followed suit.

Maids allegedly stole money and other personal items between July and October 2022.

According to a copy of the official charge sheet obtained by GhanaWeb, three people who allegedly benefited from the proceeds of the heist are also charged with offences.
