PASTOR BEAT UP COLLEAGUE PASTOR

On August 2, 2023, at 16:00 hours, Apostle Christopher Kunda, aged 45 and the Church Leader for Presence of God Life Ministries International, was detained by the police at Central Police Station in Lusaka. The reason for his detention was Assault Occasioning Actual Bodily Harm (OABH).

On the evening of July 31, 2023, an incident took place at Society Business Park, located between Cairo Road and Cha-Cha Cha Road. The exact time of the incident was approximately 22:30 hours.

In a recent incident, a man has been accused of assaulting Reverend Nelson Mhango, a respected member of Bumper Harvest Church. The alleged assault took place at Reverend Mhango's residence, located at House Number 4199B in the Matero area. The accused individual's identity has not been disclosed at this time.

In a recent incident, a disagreement arose between two individuals following a complaint made by one of them. The complainant had expressed concerns to the suspect regarding allegations of a romantic involvement between the suspect and a female member of their shared church.

In a recent incident, Reverend Nelson Mhango found himself caught in an unexpected turn of events. It all began when the wife of the accused sought his counsel for the troubled couple in Chilenje. Little did he know that this counselling session would take an unforeseen detour. After the counselling session, Reverend Mhango accompanied the couple on their journey back to Matero. However, their trip took an unexpected pause as they made a stopover to purchase some food.

In a shocking turn of events, Reverend Mhango found himself at the receiving end of a physical assault. The incident occurred when he was advising Apostle Kunda against engaging in a romantic relationship with a female member of their church. Despite Reverend Mhango's well-intentioned counsel, the situation took a violent turn as he was unexpectedly punched.

In a significant development, authorities have taken decisive action by formally arresting and charging the suspect today for the offence of Assault OABH. This development marks a crucial step forward in the ongoing investigation into the incident. The individual in question has recently been released on Police bond and is expected to make a court appearance in the near future.
