Prez Nana Addo meets the Pope

According to a statement from the Holy See Press Office, on Saturday, Pope Francis met with President Nana Addo Akufo-Addo of the Republic of Ghana in the study of Paul VI Hall.
President Akufo-Addo, accompanied by Archbishop Paul Richard Gallagher, Secretary for Relations with States and International Organisations, met with Cardinal Secretary of State Pietro Parolin in the Secretariat of State after his meeting with the Pope.
Discussions at the conference focused on the "good relations" between the Vatican and Ghana.
The primary topic of conversation was how to improve Catholic-Ghanaian relations in the areas of education and healthcare. The political and social climate in Ghana were also topics of conversation.
The topic of current world affairs was also discussed, with an emphasis on enhancing security in West African countries and resolving global peace challenges.
