Despite failing to score in his debut season in the Ghana Premier League, the Hearts of Oak player is determined to compete for the golden boot and assist his team win titles in 2023/24.
"I've worked on scoring goals, and I really need to return as a different person." It will benefit both me and the club," Eonde told Ghanasportspage, stressing his desire to improve his skills. He acknowledged the benefits of the vacation, stating that spending time with his family revitalised him.
Eonde's ambitions include adding more goals to his team's total. "Hopefully, I'll be back as a different person and a different player to do my job and achieve my goals," he told Ghanasportspage.com.
When asked about his goal of winning the top scorer title, Eonde remained pragmatic, appreciating the competitive nature of sport. "Every striker playing for a big team like Hearts of Oak will be hoping to get the maximum target for himself and the club," he stated, emphasising his commitment to performing at his best.
The 25-year-old attacker will rejoin his colleagues as they prepare for the new season.
