CAF instructor bids farewell to his students

Prosper Ogum, a CAF instructor who was recently named Asante Kotoko's head coach, bid an impassioned farewell to the participants of the CAF licence C coaching course for female coaches.


Prior to the 2023/24 football season, Dr. Prosper Ogum rejoined the Porcupine Warriors.

Ogum travelled to the Prampram course centre to give participants advice and bid them farewell.

"It would have been improper not to bid you farewell. I want to commend you for your level of demeanour, your level of dedication, and your level of enthusiasm for what you have come here to accomplish," he said.

"I always tell my students that competence and enthusiasm are equivalent to excellence when it comes to coaching; this is what you do." When you have the necessary skills and a burning desire to succeed, all other factors being equal, you will succeed."

"Whether you are paid or not, you will be present. I admire your zeal, your dedication, your level of discipline, and everything else. Whatever you have practised, implement them in the field."
