Formal Finance Minister cautions government on the use of Treasury Bills for long term development

The government has been advised not to finance the nation's long-term development with Treasury Bills (T-bills) by Mr. Seth Terkper, a former finance minister. T-bills, short-term financial securities with maturities ranging from 91 days to one year, he said, are not viable financing choices for Ghana's long-term economic and development objectives.
