Hearts of Oak requested a 10% discount on Young Africans' $100,000 bid for Hafiz Konkoni - Bechem United.

Hearts of Oak only offered 10% of the $100,000 paid by Young Africans for Hafiz Konkoni, according to Bechem United.

The striker completed his move to Tanzanian giants over the weekend, after receiving bids from numerous clubs, as he said in recent interviews.
Konkoni was an outstanding goal scorer in the Ghana Premier League the previous season, with a stunning record of 15 goals. His outstanding effort was instrumental in Bechem United finishing third, despite coming agonisingly close to winning the title.
Konkoni's outstanding performance piqued the interest of Black Stars coach Chris Hughton, who offered an invitation to the Ghanaian striker. It is worth noting that Konkoni is the first Ghanaian-born player to achieve such a distinction, which demonstrates his talent and expertise.
Hearts of Oak were thought to have identified the goal poacher as a viable answer to their scoring problems last season before to this transfer. The Hunters, however, rejected their offer because they demanded more for the striker.
According to Emmanuel Atuahene, Bechem United's Public Relations Officer, Hearts of Oak's bid was far too low to persuade them compared to what the Tanzanian giants spent.
"Hafiz Konkoni was originally set to join Al Hilal of Sudan, but due to personal complications, he returned to Ghana," he told Akoma FM.
"I can confirm that Hafiz was sold for $100,000, with Bechem receiving a 20% onward transfer." Hearts couldn't have bought Hafiz because their offer was only 10% of what Yanga gave for him."
