Kwame Panim ask EC and Political parties to seize flooding court with their matters

In order to decrease the likelihood of electoral cases being referred to court for adjudication, veteran politician Kwame Pianim has advised the Electoral Commission (EC) and political parties to cooperate together.

.

It is the responsibility of political parties and the EC to ensure that elections are decided at the polls and not in the courts.

Despite appeals and petitions to the Supreme Court, an Accra High Court has concluded that it can move forward with the case.

The court previously stated that hearings would occur daily.

He also made a similar request in a separate lawsuit filed with the Supreme Court, where he said that the Attorney General had not provided him with all of the material that will be used against him.

Godfred Yeboah Dame, the Attorney General, disagreed with this perspective and argued that the court should move forward because neither the Court of Appeal nor the Supreme Court had issued an order.

Justice Mary Yanzuh of the presiding court ordered that the case would continue as scheduled in the absence of a stay order.
