New track "R.I.P" by KWXD features lyrics about heartbreak.

The year's first single by Ghanaian musician KWXD, who is living in the US, is titled R.I.P. His newest song, "Call It Quits," which he wrote and sang himself, is about two lovers who must end their romance. Most of the time, the song's production quickens, enticing listeners to dance. This is intentional because KWXD wants the song to feel celebratory despite the fact that the words are depressing. Having listeners dance along with the music also helps KWXD to convince himself that everything will be fine.

Despite his late start to making music at the age of 18, music has always played a significant role in his life. He draws inspiration from a wide range of musical genres, including artists like Wizkid, J Hus, and Travis Scott as well as Kanye West and Travis Scott.
