Shatta Wale’s ‘2023 Freedom Wave Concert’ slated for Christmas

The highly anticipated third installment of Shatta Wale's "Freedom Wave Concert 2023" has been announced.

He announced on his Facebook page that Ghanaians should begin preparations for the festival, which would be held annually.

"Get ready Ghana, this is not only for the Shatta Movement, but also for us all," he said.

On Monday, December 25, 2023, the concert is scheduled to take place at the Ohene Djan Sports Stadium in Accra.

The stadium can accommodate 40,000 spectators.

Shatta Wale is nevertheless optimistic that he will occupy the 40,000-seat stadium on December 25, 2023.

The post emphasises Medikal as the only featured artist in addition to Shatta Wale.

Shatta Wale is well-known for fusing African and Western music to create enthralling choruses; he is also well-known for his collaboration with Major Lazer on the song "Already" from Beyoncé's Black is King album.

He portrays typical Ghanaian lyrics, which places him ahead of other African nations and Caribbean nations.
