"After I beat my sister and brother-in-law, my husband beat me until I lost my tooth" Lady narrates her sad story

Mary Muthoni from Nyandarua painfully narrates how she was beaten and her tooth broken by her husband, after she mercylessly beat his younger siblings. After this incidence she left him completely.

According to her she was born in Nyandarua in a family of three children. She finished her secondary education and due to lack of school fees she didn't go to college. She started doing ordinary jobs and that's when she met a young man from her village.

She said that she fell in love with him and she moved into his house soon after. They lived happily and she got pregnant. They did ordinary jobs and immediately after she gave birth they relocated to his parents home where he built her a house.
She was not welcomed by her in-laws because theu believed that she was from a poor family. She loved there until when her child was six months old. She started working in people's farms to supplement her husband's income.

Due to this her brother and sister-in-law felt jealous and started talking badly about her. They told her husband that she was disrespectful towards her in-laws and he listened to them. He would come home at night from work and beat her over false information given to him by her in-laws.
Due to this she felt frustrated and one day after she came home from work, her sister and brother in-law began to insult her. She lost her temper and she attacked them. She started to beat them, unfortunately since she was older than them she beat them badly and their cries were heard bey neighbors.

She said that the neighbors stopped her from beating them but when her husband came home that night and he was informed what had happened he lost his temper. He decided to beat her ad pay back and her in-laws never came to her rescue. He abused her so badly thst he removed her tooth in the process.

"My husband was determined to harm me permanently and I had to save my life." She said.
When she realized that her husband was determined to harm her she shouted and the neighbors came to her rescue. The stopped the fight and she managed to take her belongings and her child and she left. Sje vowed never to return to that marriage again
