EMOTIONAL: Sad Moment As Widow Of Bullion Van Police Officer Reads Her Tribute .

Callistus Amoah, a police officer who was slain in a bullion van incident, is being laid to rest today, July 15, 2023.

Friday marked the beginning of the funeral procedure in Accra, Ghana, at the St. George Catholic Church, where he was a member.

Today, in his hometown of Navrongo in the Upper East Region, the burial is taking place.

Amanda, the wife of the deceased police officer, could not hold back her emotions while reading her tribute and farewell message to her husband in a video that has surfaced on social media.

The young widow can be seen inconsolable and weeping as she reads her emotive eulogy.

Her tribute was so moving that the majority of the audience shed tears.

Callistus Amoah, a Ghanaian police officer of 28 years old, was shot and killed on June 22, 2023.

The youthful police officer died tragically while on duty as a bullion van escort.

Robbers attacked the van at the Ablekuma Star Oil petrol station and fatally shot the driver multiple times.

Following the heist, the perpetrators fled with an undisclosed sum.

According to reports, the police have arrested two suspects. The investigation is ongoing.
