“I Wash Cars Abroad For Survival Whenever I Travel” - Patapaa

Patapaa, a Ghanaian musician and performer, has stated that when he travels abroad he works as a vehicle washer because it pays better than being a music celebrity in Ghana.

Nana Romeo, the host, propagated the myth that when Patapaa travels abroad, he performs menial tasks such as vehicle washing.

He claims his manager complains about how much he rests, but his response is always the same: "I only get up to play a programme."

He went on to state that car washers in the United States, the United Kingdom, and Germany were better off financially and personally than Ghanaian artists.

"When we see other people, we think we're bigger than they are," he lamented, and he urged individuals to "travel and see."

"They get so angry when you mention music because the money they would make in seconds is more than a week, two weeks, or a month's worth of an artist's work in Ghana," he explained.

"The money they would make in seconds is greater than a week, two weeks, or a month's worth of work for an artist in Ghana."
