NPP needs to hear this as Hopeson Adorye drops relevance via NDP and NPP's Ernest Owusu Bempah

Hopeson Adorye, a member of the NPP communications team, has delivered a notice to the New Patriotic Party through the party's newly appointed Deputy Director of Communications, Ernest Owusu Bempah.

Speaking on Okay FM this morning, Hopeson Adorye made it clear that Ernest Owusu Bempah is not an official member of the NPP. He explained and revealed that Ernest Owusu Bempah is a party leader of the National Democratic Party (NDP). He went on to reveal that he was the NDP's communications officer as well as their parliamentary candidate for the Asante Akim constituency. For this reason, Ernest Owusu Bempah cannot be given a position in the NPP unless he (Ernest Owusu Bempah) declares his full stance towards the party to which he truly belongs.

“I want to emphasize that no one dislikes Mr Ernest Owusu Bempah. We worked together all the time. But the truth is one. As I am speaking to you, if you ask for the NDP's National Communications Director, they will say it is Ernest Owusu Bempah. So how can one person hold two positions in two different parties? Doesn't the party have the men? He is still a member of the NDP because he has not openly declared his intention to leave that party for the NPP," he said.

Hopeson Adorye further stated that he has nothing against Ernest Owusu Bempah because they always spoke against the NDC on the same platform, but that does not make Owusu Bempah a member of NPP. He sent a strong message to the NPP leaders, urging them to do what is needed as many men in the party can also serve in such a position.

This comes after Ghana Gas Company Limited Communications Director and Fixing the County Movement leader Mr Ernest Owusu Bempah was appointed Deputy Communications Director of the New Patriotic Party (NPP). His appointment was included in a press statement issued on Friday, August 26, 2022, by the party's general secretary, Justin Kodua Frimpong. His appointment was among 29 others made for various party functions.

Hopeson Adorye believes Ernest Owusu Bempah belongs to the NDP, a political party founded by Nana Konadu Agyemang Rawlings in October 2012. He believes that the NPP needs to know Ernest Owusu Bempah's current stance on whether he is wholeheartedly pro-NPP or NDP.
