Planning a pregnancy just after your period ends is ideal. This is because the chances of getting pregnant are highest right after a woman has her period. Taking vitamins after menstruation, together with maintaining a healthy lifestyle and engaging in regular intercourse, can increase a woman's chances of becoming pregnant soon after her period ends.

The following are some vitamin supplements and food items that can help you conceive soon after your period has ended, as recommended by Healthline.

Sodium folic acid

Women of childbearing age are encouraged to get at least 400 micrograms of folic acid daily, according to recommendations from health experts.

Folic acid, a B-complex vitamin essential during pregnancy for the production of new red blood cells and for lowering the risk of neural tube defects (spinal cord disorders in the unborn child), is essential.

To conceive fast following menstruation, folic acid can be taken as a supplement or obtained from foods like fruits, cereals, and green vegetables.

Zinc

Ovulation and male and female fertility are both influenced by zinc, as is the creation of seminal fluid and testosterone in men.

Calcium is essential for healthy bones and the prevention of osteoporosis in adults, and this recommendation extends to those between the ages of 19 and 50.

Drinking milk and eating green vegetables are great ways to increase your calcium intake, which can help you get pregnant faster following menstruation.
