GES Finally Released 2024 Reopening Dates For All Schools In Ghana

The Ghana Education Service has announced the reopening date for all schools in Ghana for the 2024–2025 academic calendar.

2024 Reopening Date For Kindergarten, Primary and JHS Schools in Ghana

The Reopening Date is Tuesday 18th January , 2023 for children in kindergarten, primary and Junior High, in both private and public schools, to be back in school. . See Details Here


2024 Reopening Date For Senior High Schools in Ghana

All SHS 1 students are to start classes on December 4, 2023, with all students embarking on a single-track academic calendar. Their seniors in SHS 2 and SHS 3 will, however, return to school from 1st November, 2023 .

SHS 3 students in all schools, like SHS 1 students, will no longer run the double track system. The expansion of infrastructure at the various senior high schools, over the last three (3) years, has brought us to this favorable situation. However, the double track system will still be applicable to SHS 2 students in schools that are employing it. See Details Here

2024/2025 Reopening Date For All Ghana Universities And Colleges


Students in universities and other tertiary institutions are to be in school from 8th January , 2024 .
