1 Dristrict 1 factory turns 1 week 1 corruption - Elvis Afriyie Ankrah drags Akufo Addo and Bawumia

In a short discussion with some youth, former sports minister, Hon Elvis Afriyie Ankrah called on the government to deal with corruption cases rather than covering them.


According to the former lawmaker, the NPP cannot prosecute any NDC member for any corrupt practice because they don’t have any evidence of corruption during their time in power.He also emphasized that the NPP has a lot of corruption history as compared to their predecessors hence they are afraid if they go to opposition they will have to account for all the stolen money.

“For NPP, 1 week, 1 corruption, it’s as if they are doing it for us to get tired, in fact by the time one issue starts, as we are talking about it then another one comes, every week there is something. There are over 100 cases and in all the cases, the president will cover up, he won’t allow investigations to go on”, he stated.


He also went ahead to talk about the Achimota forest which was reportedly willed out by the late Sir John. “The forest, all this part is for me and my children, are you ok? They have stolen all the money. The things that will come out when they lose power, you have no idea that’s why they don’t want to go but they lie bad they will go”

According to him, the effect of their corrupt practices are the reasons why our roads are not being constructed, schools are still under tree high inflation because money that were meant for all those projects are going to individual pockets.

He listed some of the corrupt practices which includes;
US$2.25 Billion Bond Saga, Gh¢800k website Saga, $1M Ministry of Sanitation scandal, Australia 2018, 21st Commonwealth Games Visa Scandal, BOST Contaminated Fuel Scandal, etc.
