Ghanaian Teachers Receive Akufo-Addo’s laptop with a big smile after complaining bitterly

1 Teacher 1 Laptop has finally delivered all promises and in collaborating with the Ghana Education Service. 

Teacher's are giving testimonies over the new Laptops even though some also try to Propagandised it and the video below indicates gow some teachers and their Positive refreshment over these distribution.

These laptops are to assist teachers across the country, in making their work very easy for them as the world is gradually moving from the traditional ways of doing things to a more technological ways of making one's work easy and very comfortable. 

Teachers in the country from kindergarten to Senior High School are to be given laptops under the one teacher, one laptop programme.

According to some of these teachers, computer had become very important nowadays since it was accurate, fast and could accomplish many tasks easily.

These teachers took these laptops with a big smile as they believe this initiative will enhance both teaching and learning in all forms of education. 

"These current students need to be critical thinkers, analytical, researchers and knowledgeable and they believe with the aid of this laptop, their job will be much easier", one teacher said. 

" We teachers found ourselves wanting when coronavirus came at it's peak. School was halted and that indeed made some of our students very reluctant and lazy. Some private schools were able to teach via zoom with the aid of a laptop but some of us in the public sector couldn't and indeed it was very worrisome. This will help us in making our work easier", another teacher said. 

The 1 teacher 1 laptop was launched on the 3rd of September, 2021 in Accra. During the launch, the Vice President, Dr. Bawumia asserted that the outbreak of the Coronavirus pandemic affected teaching and learning due to the unavailability of technological equipment hence the initiative. 

To government, this forms part of efforts to improve the status of teachers, effective 2022, all products from the Colleges of Education will graduate as first degree holders and will be entering the Ghana Education Service as Principal Superintendent.
