Hon Elvis Afriyie Ankrah applauds John Mahama for his massive developmental project in less than 4years

Former parliamentary candidate for Ayawaso West, Hon Elvis Afriyie Ankrah has lauded the flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), John Dramami Mahama for his splendid performance when he was elected president.

The former sports minister was addressing a group of workers ahead of their Christmas break on why the NDC is a better option than the NPP.

Speaking on Friday, he emotionally spoke about how the NDC performed as compared to the shambolic performance of this current government.

In a brief statement made by the former sports minister, he stated that John Mahama was a president for just 3 years 4 months but performed exceptionally as compared to the 7 years of Nana Addo and Dr. Bawumia.

Citing examples such as the Terminal 3, UG Medical center, Tamale airport, the Ridge hospital, he stated that all these achievements were done in less than 4 years. “In every economy when there is a court case after election, no investor wants to come because they don’t know whether there will be a re-run or not. For the first 8 months we were just marking time so all that John Mahama was able to achieve were all under 4 years”

The former minister further urged the group to compare the debt incurred by this NPP administration in 7years as compared to all the heads of state that came before them. He stated that each Ghanaian owes Ghs19,000 due to the excessive loans this government has taken without anything to show for.

Ghanaians will go to the polls on 7th December 2024 to elect a new president that will man the affairs of the country. H. E John Dramani Mahama will go head to head with Vice President Dr. Bawumia as the two leaders of the two major political parties in Ghana.
